When using a space heater only plug it into a wall outlet. The use of power strips which are not rated for the amount of current that space heaters draw will cause them to melt and start a fire. Be safe and follow the following guidelines when using space heaters.
1. Keep the space heater at least three feet from any objects.
2. Plug space heaters into only wall outlets.
3. Never leave space heaters unattended.
4. Unplug the space heaters when not in use.
