The Brooklyn Community Volunteer Fire Company wishes to submit the name of Albert Anderson for consideration of the Hall of Fame Award. Albert became a member of the Brooklyn Community Volunteer Fire Company in June 1942. Albert is a Life Member.
Since joining the Brooklyn Community Volunteer Fire Company, Albert has served on the Board of Governors since January 1981. He was elected Vice-President in July 1981 and President in October 1989, having served a total of 28 years on the Board.
Albert has also been active in the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association serving as a Delegate for our Fire Company for 23 years.
Albert has been active in the Maryland State Firemen's Association serving as a Delegate for our company for 20 years.

Obituary
Albert became a member of Brooklyn Community Volunteer Fire Company in June of 1942 and was a life member.
Since joining the Brooklyn Community Volunteer Fire Company, Albert served as an ambulance driver one night a week for many years.
In September of 1980, Albert was elected to the Board of Governors and Vice-President in July 1981. He was elected President in October 1989 and President Emeritus in January 2010.
Albert has been active in the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighter's Association, serving as Delegate for the Brooklyn Community Volunteer Fire Company for over 25 years and also served as a Delegate to the Maryland State Firemen's Association for many years.
