  Doug joined West Annapolis Volunteer Fire and Improvement Company, Inc. as an honorary member on August 17, 1982. Since joining the company, Doug became an active member in August of 1983.

  Doug has held several positions such as Trustee (1984-1987), Vice-President (1988-1992), and has been President since 1993. He has served on the Board of Directors since 1984.

  Doug has also served on the following committees for West Annapolis Volunteer Fire and Improvement Company, Inc.: equipment, LOSAP, and several fundraising committees such as the shrimp feasts, pictures, and he started the annual bull roast in 2002 which is held with the Knights of Columbus.

  Doug has also served on several committees for Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association such as the Combination Review Board, 508 Committee, and served as Tag Chairman. He helped renovate the buildings at Crownsville, and served on the 17 State Circle Committee for the Maryland State Firemens Association.

  Doug has been a delegate to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association and the Maryland State Firemens Association for many years.

  The West Annapolis Volunteer Fire and Improvement Company, Inc. would like to nominate Douglas M. Beall to the Hall of Fame.
