 Dunbar Goss was a life member of the Deale Volunteer Fire Department. He was most remembered for teaching fire prevention for many years at the local elementary schools.

Dunbar was active in the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firemen’s Association. He was one of Deale’s delegates for many years. He served as President from 1964-1965. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2003.
