EDWARD S. HALL, JR.
Edward (Ed) Hall was a life member of the Herald Harbor Volunteer Fire Company. He served as President at the time the new fire house was occupied. He also served as Vice President. In the earlier years, he served as an operational officer. He was extremely active in all aspects at Herald Harbor. Each year at the company banquet, the Edward S. Hall Fire and EMS award is given in his honor.
Ed was active in the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association. He served as a delegate for many years. He served as a Trustee 1953-1954. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1997.
Ed was active in the Maryland State Firemen’s Association and served as a delegate for many years. He received the Maryland State Firemen’s Association Colburn Trophy Award in 1954 for an Outstanding Act of Heroism. He was nominated for the Hall of Fame, but was not selected.
