Raymond W. Jordan, Chief

 The Cape St. Claire Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. nominates Raymond W. Jordan for the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Associations' Hall of Fame Award. Raymond had been very active in the operations of the Marley Volunteer Fire Department before moving to Cape St. Claire. Once here, he saw the need for increasing the fire protection for the eastern Broadneck Peninsula. He was very instrumental in recruiting possible members, getting organized, obtaining training and generally moving the company ever forward. Raymond served as the Chief of the Cape St. Claire Volunteer Fire Company from 1955-1962.
