MARIE MOORE MCHUGH

 Marie Moore McHugh was a member of the Arnold Volunteer Fire Company.  She served as both an administrative and operational member.

Marie was active in the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association.  She served as a delegate for her home company.  She held the office of Assistant Secretary from 1990-1992, Secretary in 1993, and went through the chairs to become President in 1997-1998.  During Marie’s term as President, she requested the Trustees purchase a shed to store the Association property in.  This was done and to this day is known as the Marie McHugh Memorial Shed.  Marie was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2005.

 Marie moved to the Eastern Shore and is presently a member of the Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company in Centreville, MD.  She is certified as a firefighter, F.A.D.O. and EMT.
