Jack V. Reckner, Sr. was a life member of the Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company as well as a very active member.

Jack was active in the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firemen’s Association and served as President from 1955-1956. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1998.

Jack was also active in the Maryland State Firemen’s Association and served as President from 1960-1961. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1995.
