LAWRENCE C. SHAMER

Lawrence (Larry) Shamer was an active member of the Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed working the carnival, bingos, and wherever else the company needed his assistance. You could count on Larry’s help. He was well liked and could always make you laugh no matter what the situation was. Larry had a stroke in his early 30's that left him paralyzed. As a result, the company made him an Honorary Member. He did what he could until his death.

Larry attended the meetings of the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firemen’s Association. He was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1997.
