Wayne Snyder's Sons and Grandchildren

The Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department Board of Director’s and the entire membership submitted the name of Wayne A. Snyder for the Hall of Fame. 

 For much of the 1960’s and through the 1980’s, Wayne served in a number of fire suppression positions including the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Chief.  He had just returned home from the company meeting when he suffered a massive heart attack.  At the time of his death, he was President of the Company and a life member.

 Wayne served as a delegate to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and to the Maryland State Firemen’s Association for many, many years.
