John Wenzel and Charlie Doegen

The members of the Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department nominated John Wenzel to the Hall of Fame for the following reasons:

 John has been in the fire service since 1982.  During the 29-years, he has held the offices of Secretary, Vice President, and President.  He is currently holding the office of Treasurer, which he has held for 10-years.  When it comes to fundraisers, John is there to volunteer and help with all aspects of the fundraiser.   He is always available to help his fellow volunteers and career personnel no matter what it is or the time of the day.

 John has served on several committees for the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and is a regular attendee at the Association meetings.

 John was nominated  by his company for his outstanding volunteer service.
