Firefighter James Richmond named FF/EMT/Admin Member of the Quarter for the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association.

Nomination Letter

The Arundel Volunteer Fire Department wishes to nominated Firefighter James Richmond for the FF/EMT/Admin Member of the Quarter.
Not only is he the chair of our Board of Directors and is active in responding to calls as a Fire Apparatus Driver Operator and firefighter, but he also assist in one of the lead roles in the station training program. Some of his notable training he had provided was auto extrication training, CPR training with an added feature of how to perform CPR on a downed firefighter with gear on, and most recently a forcible entry training session using training mock door device. He also assists in station training of new members.
It is our belief that James exemplifies the true spirit of what a volunteer fire department member should be and that his hard work specifically should be recognized.
