The Arundel Volunteer Fire Department wishes to nominate FFII Jacob Lerch for the “Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association FF/EMT/Administrative Member of the Quarter.”

Jacob has recently completed a new inventory list for our Engine 71, as well as, updated the inventory on our Engine 73. He was also involved in assisting with the developing of a new engine test for new members, and is currently working with others on a new Squad test.

In recent months, Jacob has also been on numerous calls, but I would like to highlight that he participated in (3) rescue boxes with people trapped in each, as well as, two first due kitchen fires, on deck fire, and one commercial garage fire.

It is our belief that Jacob exemplifies the true spirit of what a volunteer fire department member should be and that his hard work should be recognized.
