Subject: NOMINATION OF JEANE REESE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE MEMBER OF THE QUARTER

The Community Fire Company, Inc. of Linthicum nominates Jean Reese for administrative member of the quarter

Jean has been a member of our fire company for the past seven years. She has been on the company's Board of Directors and is now serving as the company's Vice-President. She maintains an average of twenty days or more bing present at the station.

Jean is chairperson of the Building Committee ans serves as the liason between the volunteer and paid personnel at the fire house. She co-ordinates with the duty officer regarding the maintenance of the building and grounds of the station and reports to the Board of any necessary action . jean initiates dicussion regarding non-county budget items for repair or replacement to be funded by the volunteers.

Jean is also a member of the two other committees:

1)  Communication Committee - She is in charge of picking up the mail at the post office and distributing it to the proper personnel. Jean is responsible for bringing any request or complaints to the Board of Directors for discussion.

2)  Finance Committee - Jean is our top seller of MSFA tickets for the past two years. She has also used her own money to buy items for the paid personnel that has been denied by the Board without asking to be compensated.

Jean shares the comradery with the paid staff so much that thy have invited her to stay and eat with them on several occasions. Jean is our welcoming member for new transferes or replacements to our station, and is often invited to company social events when paid personnel retire or are transferred. She helps to plan the menue and locatio for our company's meetings whe we host the association.
