Belle was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company.  She could always be counted on to find something funny in even the worse situations.  Belle made working for the Ladies Auxiliary pure fun.  Long hours and late nights didn’t damper her spirits or still her laughter.

 

Belle was President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firemen’s Association from 1958-1959. 

 

Belle served as Conference Chairman for the Ladies Auxiliary to the Maryland State Firemen’s Association from 1959-1960 and again from 1963-1964.

 

She was inducted into the Hall of Fame in July 2003.
