Elizabeth Burns was an active member of the Marley Park Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She later became an active member of the Green Haven Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

 

Elizabeth served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firemen's Association from 1956-1957 and was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2003.

 

Elizabeth also served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Maryland State Volunteer Firemen's Association from 1966-1967 and was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2002.

 

Elizabeth passed away in 1983.
