MARGARET DOVE
PAST PRESIDENT
1992-1993

 Margaret Dove joined the Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in the early 1960’s.  Her grandfather was a member of the fire company as early as 1929.  She served as Secretary and assisted in the various fundraisers and activities of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Margaret joined the Powhatan Beach Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in 1989. When the Green Haven and Powhatan Volunteer Fire Companies merged in August 1990, Margaret was voted in as President of the Armiger Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.  She served as President until the Auxiliary disbanded in 1997.

 Margaret served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association from 1992-1993 having worked her way up through the chairs.  Margaret was inducted into the Hall of Fame on 8 July 2003.

 Margaret also attended the annual Ladies Auxiliary to the Maryland State Firemen’s Association conventions held in Ocean City each year.

Margaret passed away on 9 June 1998.
