 Mary was an active member of the Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

 Mary served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firemen’s Association from 1952-1954.   She was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2003.
