OTHER SERVICE TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT: Served on the Sunshine and Ways and Means committee for the County, served as Guard and Color Bearer for the County when chairs could not be filled. Also served on numerous LAMSFA committees.

COMMENTS: The Maryland City VFD Auxiliary is nominating Hannah Miller for the Hall of Fame. Hannah has been an active member of our auxiliary for almost 30 years. She served as President for 12 consecutive years from October 1972 until May 1984. She also served as Vice-President, Corresponding Secretary for one term each. She has served on the Fire Prevention, Membership, Telephone, Ways and Means, Nominating, and Special Projects committees for our auxiliary. Hannah was awarded the Auxiliary President’s Award for 94-95 for her dedicated help and support to the auxiliary. She also received a Letter of Appreciation in May 96 for her devoted and valuable services to the auxiliary.
She has been active in the county auxiliary serving on the Ways and Means and Sunshine Committees. When the Chairs were being hard to fill, Hannah accepted a one year term as Color Bearer for 96-97 and has accepted another one year term as Guard for 97-98. Hannah faithfully attends the county auxiliary meetings and is a delegate each year for the annual convention.
Hannah has served on many committees of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Maryland State Firemen’s Association including Pins and Badges, Credentials, Ways and Means, Auditing, and Bessie Marshall committees. Hannah has been a delegate to the convention for many, many years and looks forward to attending the convention. She is also one of our representatives at fall and spring conferences each year.
Hannah is more than willing to do whatever is needed for the good of our auxiliary. She graciously offers her home for meetings. We hope the committee feels as we do, that Hannah is most deserving of induction into the Hall of Fame.
