To. Anne Arundel County Ladies Auxiliary Hall of Fame Committee
This letter is to nominate Penny Nichols to the Anne Arundel County Ladies Auxiliary Hall of Fame.
Penny Nichols joined the West Annapolis Ladies Auxiliary on the 19th of June 1978 and has been an active participating member since that time.
She has held the office of Treasurer for the West Annapolis Auxiliary for many years. Penny has chaired many committees over these past years within the Auxiliary and served on many more.
Penny has participated in all functions for both the auxiliary and fire department activities. Whenever needed you can always find Penny in the kitchen helping to prepare and cook for dinners and helping out with other functions. Here are some examples of the activities Penny had been involved with : she has helped out with the fire company’s annual bull roast, the fire company hosted a dinner for EMS bicyclist from New York, shrimp feast, carnivals, county association meetings to name a few.
She may not have held offices in the County or State, but whenever asked Penny had participated in any and all tasks.
Penny is a great asset to the Fire Service, as an auxiliary we are very proud to nominate Penny Nichols into the Hall of Fame.
