Special Awards or Recognition Received: 5-10-15-20 year service awards.
Comments: Worked suppers, luncheons, bake sales, Dances, Prepared for County Ladies and men’s meetings. Train Shows, cat shows, wedding receptions, anniversary and birthday parties, flea markets whatever catering jobs the auxiliary took on. Prepared and delivered food and drinks to firefighters during our brush fire seasons and house burnings any two alarm fires our boys responded to, also drills. Worked with the American Red Cross on apartment fires in Glen Burnie and any time the Red Cross needed us. Took First Aid Classes, then Red Cross CPR classes. Marched in the Ladies Auxiliary Marching Unit for Firemen Parades at annual carnivals in our county and statewide. Marched at the Anne Arundel County Convention and Maryland State Convention. Participated in the county games. Attended the Maryland State Firemen’s Convention in Ocean City.
Margaret conducted a memorial service for one of our members that passed away this year 1994.
