THERESA DEAN WINKELMEYER

1996-1997

Theresa Dean Winkelmeyer has been a member of the Jessup Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary since 24 March 1979 and is a life member. Although she never was an officer, she was involved with fire prevention and helps with whatever needs to be done. She is instrumental when the Jessup Ladies or Fire Department host a County meeting and is ready to assist in any way she can. She is currently serving on the Ways and Means committee for the fire department.

Theresa served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association in 1996-97 having worked her way up the chairs. She is currently serving as Vice President so the chair would not be vacant. She has also served on the Ways and Means and Constitution and By-laws committees. She is one of the delegates representing the Jessup Ladies at these meetings. Theresa was elected in the Hall of Fame on 8 July 2003.

Theresa also attends the Ladies Auxiliary to the Maryland State Firemen’s Association annual convention in Ocean City and is a delegate. She served as Page twice – 1988-89 and 1997-98.
