This fire engine, donated by Maryland City Volunteer Fire Department is being transported from Joint Base Charleston via The Denton Humanitarian Assistance Program to La Paz, Honduras. It will be given to the La Paz Fire Department following a fresh paint job. A team of firefighters from the US will be training the La Paz FD in Feb/Mar. Thank you #Denton and Joint Task Force-Bravo, lives will be saved!

Honduras Compassion Partners (HCP), in partnership, provides medical services, clean water systems, and self-sufficiency assessments to families and individuals in need in Honduras.

The purpose of the Denton Program is to allow U.S. based non-governmental sources to transport humanitarian aid at little or no cost to the donor, while simultaneously putting the extra space on U.S. military transport assets to good use.
