The officers and members of the Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company are pleased to nominate Administrative Member Andrew Price for the AACVFA’s Outstanding Member of the Quarter Award.

Andy joined the EHVFC in April 1992. He has been the Carnival Chairman since 1996, except for time when his job took him overseas for 5 years. Upon his return in 2006 he resumed his position and is still the Carnival Chairman. Andy works with the carnival vendor and the committee 12 months a year to ensure it remains our largest fundraiser.

Andy has managed the Bingo operation at Earleigh Heights for many years as Chair of the committee. More recently he has managed the reopening of the program after the COVID 19 pandemic. This included seeing that all County and State restrictions were followed for the safety of our patrons and members. Bingo is our largest monthly income generator, and the program is earning 50% more than it was pre-pandemic.

For the past 2 years, Andy has handled a very successful food trucks program on a seasonal basis. This effort has been a very profitable fundraiser and builds relationships with the communities we serve.

Andy has served on the Board of Directors for five years and brings to the table a vast amount of experience in many aspects of the administrative operations of the Company. His commitment and devotion to the success of the EHVFC is a true example of Volunteerism in today’s world. He is a dedicated and extremely valuable member of our organization, and we are proud to submit his name for consideration for the Outstanding Member of the Quarter Award
