Today Ronald A. Block of the Cape St. Claire Volunteer Fire Company resigned from the Maryland State Firefighters Association Executive Committee. Ron has served in this position for the last 8 1/2 years, representing Anne Arundel County. During this time Ron has also served on many committees for the MSFA as well. Ron's expertise in insurance has been a great asset to many fire companies across the state. Ron and his wife will be moving to Florida shortly and will be greatly missed. He has promised to keep involved remotely when the opportunity allows.

Ron's position on the Executive committee will be filled by Randi D. Beavers, from Cape St. Claire Volunteer Fire Company.

Best wishes to Ron as he settles in for more favorable weather and financial climate in Florida. Ron's longstanding dedication and expertise leaves a huge void to fill. I have no doubt that Randi Beavers will give it her all.
