
Emory E. Webb and Patti Kidwell
On September 6, 2024, Life Member Emory Webb of the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Company (FVFC) was inducted in the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association Hall of Fame. Emory joined the FVFC in November 1969 and has been actively serving the community for the past 55 years. He never misses a company meeting or a board meeting and can often be seen at fundraising events or around the station. He is a wealth of knowledge and truly a legend at the company.
Emory is currently serving as Vice President. He was made a Life Member in 2000. He served as a Firefighter/EMT from 1979-2000, Pump Operator from 1973-2000, EMS Lieutenant, Fire Lieutenant, and Board Member.
Emory received his Pumps Certification in 1973, Special Fire Certificate in 1977, and his Emergency Medical Technician certification in 1979.
Emory served in the United States Army from 1956-1962.
