Committees function and duties: The Fire Prevention Committee shall develop and promote a year-round fire prevention program.  The program shall be planned and promoted to inform the citizens of AnneArundelCounty of all age groups.  The program shall be developed in cooperation with the Fire Marshal's Office of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, which shall serve as a Technical Advisor to the committee.

 The committe is resonsible for the maintenance and scheduling of the Association Fire Safety Trailer and presenting the D. Edgar Hurlock, Jr. Fire Prevention Award at the annual convention.
